The Physics department is proud to congratulate the graduates who received their Master's degrees in the Class of 2024, during an emotional ceremony at the faculty.
Ron Grikshtas, who is continuing to pursue a Ph.D. under the guidance of Prof. Yakov Krasik, delivered a speech on behalf on the graduates:"I am proud and excited to stand here today as the representative of the students and to congratulate the graduates on earning their Master’s degrees in Physics for 2024. Choosing to pursue advanced studies is no small decision, especially in light of the past year, during which we all faced challenges in our own ways. Nevertheless, we managed to overcome all obstacles and reach this moment, driven by the belief that investing in knowledge is an investment in the future.
On behalf of the students, I want to express our gratitude to everyone who helped us get to this point. To the faculty staff: the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Adi Nasser, and the Vice Dean for Advanced Degrees, Prof. Daniel Podolsky, for pushing us toward excellence from the admissions interviews to the final exam; to Irit Lazarovitz, for her personal support to each and every one of us, always ensuring we received what we deserved; to our advisors, for their professionalism and support throughout the journey, and for believing in us even on days when we didn’t. I also want to thank our families for sharing this challenging journey with us with understanding, even when we told you we were running late because we had to finish another calculation or another experiment in the lab."
Congratulations to our 2024 graduates!
We are proud of you and are honored to have accompanied you during your studies.Wishing each and every one of you success, whether you continue in research or lead the way in industry.
